Well known in the county and state, the members of North Marion's math department regularly attend conferences and seminars to keep abreast of the current ideas in the field of Mathematics. Several 
teachers have attended the Texas Instrument International Conference in Chicago, Washington, DC, New Orleans as well as Nashville to learn new and time-tested ways to implement TI handheld technology into their classrooms.
Members of the Math Department include Department Chair Carol Stewart, Nelson Elliott, Linda Rosenberger, Andrea Neptune, Larry Mason, Jesse Baker, and Josh Barker.
